StreamBridge acts as a high-performance relay between your encoder (OBS, vMix, Wirecast) and your viewers. Instead of your computer uploading three separate streams (taxing your CPU and Internet), you send **one high-quality stream** to us, and we distribute it.

Optimizing OBS Studio

Settings > Stream

Set Service to "Custom". Enter your StreamBridge Server URL and your private Stream Key from the dashboard.

Settings > Output

Set Output Mode to "Advanced". We recommend a Bitrate of 6000 Kbps for 1080p 60fps streaming.

Common Questions

Does StreamBridge increase my latency?
No. Because our relay nodes use dedicated Tier-1 bandwidth, the added latency is typically under 200ms—unnoticeable for live broadcasts.
Can I stream in 4K?
4K streaming is available exclusively on our Enterprise plans with dedicated GPU transcoding nodes.

Hardware Acceleration

To ensure your local PC remains lag-free while gaming or producing, you must offload the video encoding process to your dedicated hardware chip.

NVIDIA Users (NVENC)

The gold standard for streaming. Uses the dedicated encoder on your RTX/GTX card.

Recommended

AMD Users (AMF)

Utilizes the Advanced Media Framework on Radeon GPUs for efficient 1080p encoding.

Avoid using x264 (Software) encoding unless you have a high-end secondary PC, as it will significantly impact your in-game FPS.

YouTube Live

YouTube supports extremely high bitrates. For the best quality, we recommend 1440p upscaling through the StreamBridge relay.

Step 1: Get your Stream Key

Navigate to YouTube Studio > Go Live. Copy the "Stream Key" and "Stream URL".

Facebook Business

Streaming to Facebook Pages requires a Persistent Stream Key to avoid re-configuring your bridge every session.

Pro Tip:

Facebook limits standard streams to 720p 30fps unless you are part of the 'Level Up' program or use a verified Business Page.

Instagram RTMP

Instagram now allows professional streaming via RTMP. This requires a 9:16 vertical canvas in OBS.

Recommended Settings

  • Resolution: 1080 x 1920
  • Bitrate: 3500 Kbps
  • Profile: Baseline
  • Keyframe: 2 Seconds

TikTok Live Studio

To stream to TikTok, you must have 1,000+ followers to unlock the "Cast to PC/Mac" RTMP feature.

    Generate Server URL

    Open TikTok on mobile, select '+' then 'Live', and click 'Cast to PC'.

  2. 02.

    Paste into StreamBridge

    Add the provided TikTok Server URL and Stream Key into your StreamBridge Destinations Panel.
